Depends on how big your plants are. I believe that you can over-water them and get less tasty toms. Are they inside or out? The cold nights won't have helped any. Stick your finger down into the compost as the surface may feel dry but beneath may be ok.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Are they on a windowsill?  It may be that they are suffering from scorch.  If they are too close to the glass, or worse touching it, the sun is magnified slightly and dries off the extremities.  It is usually worst on the lower most leaves.

Extra watering won't help.

What sized pots are they in, it sounds like you need to pot them on to dry them out a bit. If the seedlings are sitting in cold soggy compost they'll be very unhappy and won't make roots.

Stand the pots in a plastic tray and water the tray not the plant. When the  tray becomes dry- replenish. As you repot you will need bigger trays. I use bulk meat trays which can be a foot square. When the fruit has set, feed the plant at the top and water from the bottom.
My plants are on the 4th flower and watering is virtually a daily occurrance with feeding done weekly on a Monday. That way you will not forget.

If your plants are only 2'' tall and you are watering daily, you are giving them far, far, too much water. At this stage tomato plants should be kept just moist, not soaking wet!  Otherwise you will end up with tall leggy plants, and the first flower truss will be 2 foot up the stem.  Plants need to establish a good root system before putting on top growth and they do that by seeking out moisture.
After the final planting and when the first fruit has set, then you can go full pelt with the watering!  Happy gardening! :)

There is no better show of antisipation than a man sowing seeds in a field.
