Actually, I think I got something wrong in my post last night.  :oops:

A perch or pole is 5.5yards, a square perch is 30sq yards. So a 10 perch plot is 300 sq yards.

11 by 22 is 8 perch and was quoted during the 'dig for victory' campaign as the area required for a family to be self sufficient in veg.

Coincidentally, 5.5yards is 5m, making a square perch 25sqm!

Either way, you've got a decent sized area there, enjoy..... 8)
