well im on day 19 now of our second lot of trying to hatch chicken eggs in our incubator, the first lot failed so hopefully these may???
keeping fingers crossed

well its now day 21 and cant hear anything starting to get a bit worried again as they didnt hatch succesfully last time. hopefully in the next few days they will ??   :wub:

Sorry your 1 hatch didnt make it  :( *fingers crossed* for the other.
I have 4 legbars due to hatch on Monday, trying not to think about it too much, They are under a broody so just leaving mum to do her job  :)

thanks i seem to have more look with my broody, but have only had incubator about a a couple of months so it is trial and error at the mo. oh well fingers crossed. :blink:

 :) well have got another chick pipping but so to speak not counting my chicks until they hatch.  :D  s will let you know pls keep your fingers crossed, we have hatched plenty of ducklings just need some chicks now.

 :)  its hatched and still in incubator chirping away to itself, none of the other eggs are showing any sign of hatching so unfortunately only one this time.  will be in a brooder with a couple of teddies tommorow to keep it company.

 :(  it was a sad day as the chick that hatched we had to euthenise? it had a wonky leg and every time it had a sip of water it was making a gugling noise and looked like it was choking. i broke my heart and have refused to put anymore chick eggs in the incubator. i know i shouldnt give up but for the minute i cant do anymore. :(

so sorry Lisa, you did the best thing you could for it  :(. I would wait now until next year and then think about trying again in the spring xx
