We collected our new banties yesterday. Two partridge pekins and two dutch silver to go with our dutch bantie cockerel. between 6 and 10 weeks old.

Thier first day and they are not used to eating corn. I just hope they are eating the growers pellets. Would any of you feed them something else?

They are prob just getting used to their new surroundings, exploring is alot more fun

The only other thing I would do is add a few dried mealworms to the feed, just on the top. It will show them where the food is an encourage them to get used to you at the same time

Hi I have had 3 Pekins about the same age for a week.They are eating their pellets and drinking but don't like anything else I have offered. I'm sure its because they have only had pellets before and will get used to other foods in time.

I am sure that they are just settling in and I am an old worrier. they seem perfectly happy!

I'd allow them to settle in before the treats make sure they are eating their grub and add veggies then.

My girls were at POL but had obviously never been fed anything other than layers.

They were used to that but anything else was treated with a lot of suspicion or ignored, despite my best efforts! lol

Now.. they come running as soon as they see me - they soon learn! lol

Cooked spaghetti gets them going the most, think they think it's worms.. they LOVE worms !lol
