how often do you all go to you allotments? i go every day all day at the moment lol as it is all new but will be twice a day when/if i ever get me chicks!!!1

I work away all week so only get Fri. tea time Sat & Sun to be on the plot.
 Every day if i am not at work.
Good neighbours on the site keep an eye on things and water greenhouse for me.

I manage every other evening in week and sat afternoon and sunday rain or shine sometimes idf its too wet to dig i just sit in my shed and look at the plot how sad is that!!!

Nearly every day - I'm lucky enough to live 30 seconds away from the plot though!
Pawsnclaws - which plot do you go to? Is it one of the Orton's or maybe the dogsthorpe one?
I'm not trying to stalk you or anything so don't worry if you don't want to answer! Just curious as I live just outside Peteborough!

hello monkey i go to the one on sugar way wharf road in woodston it used to be allotments was all over grown and every one went is has just been turned back into allotments there is only 4 of us there

If I every day, but as I'm an oldie I do max of 2 hours. cos have to come home and have a looooong sit down!

Hi Pawsnclaws.  I work full-time, Mon-Fri, and by the time I get home, had my tea, its usually getting on for 7:00 in the evening .  I don't go every night, but I do every weekend, and have one Saturday off in every month.  That's when I have a day out to go to the Farm to get my meat, and then off to a pub lunch .

My hubby is up every day though.  He waters everything in the greenhouses.

Although I work full-time, I now have plant pots on the windowsill at work with peppers, chillis and cherry tomatoes.  And we all chill out by doing our little bit of "gardening" without the weeds.

I pop down most days when I have finished work.  Its amazing what you can get done in an hour or so every day

We go once per week usually (unless its dry and we'll pop up to water when necessary).
But there are 5 of us that share our lottie, so we get a lot done on the day !

Every day at the moment as it's planting up time, once all the planting is done I just pop down for an hour or two every other day to weed and water and have a natter.

Two or three hours virtually every day at the moment. It might calm down but I'm not sure.

At least an hour a day, often more depending on who I bump into for a natter.

Also spend time each day tending the seedlings at home, mind you the runners are looking more like triffid babies than seedlings!  :blink:

3-4 days a week for a few hours at a time,started to cheer on my spuds now to make them grow quicker !
