Chickens + Rabbit = ?

Wondering if I could keep a rabbit in with my 5 chickens in their new chicken run deluxe?

some people manage to keep the two together but others have found that their chickens will peck the rabbits eyes as they are dark and shiny

I keep rabbits in a puppy run in the chickens free range area. One of the girls got into the run one day and the normally dozy rabbit attacked it, they've learnt to leave them alone now. I can't mix mine!
