Yay..... I have beds!
« on: April 14, 2008, 23:49 »
I've had this plot since Jan but have not been able to make any serious headway as the weather's been sooooooo bad and my plot is quite wet!

I'll put my hands up and admit that I have used weedkiller but it has taken forever for the weeds to die.

I have managed to get a shed and have a base for the greenhouse (when it arrives - hopefully next month!) and now I have some beds!

Hubby and I painted the shed today - he sprayed the outside and I emulsioned the inside, mainly as it will double up as a playhouse for the girls when they are at the lottie.

Here are some pics........

plot with beds dug, and pre painted shed.. the wood is the base for the greenhouse

inside of shed before paint

and after paint.... it needs another coat and some pink spots yet.

outside painted

and finally... blending in nicely!

Now I'm ready to go I'm suddenly really nervous! I need to decide what to put where.... aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!  :?

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.

Nice work S.D. As for the plantings, just make a start. The knowledge will quickly gather with some experience.  8)

I've got a shed surrounded by mud and an unused pallet leaning against the wall.  D'oh, why didn't I think of that.

Looking good there, well done.

I thought I'd get hubby a rocking chair so he could sit on the veranda, take up pipe smoking and swig moonshine whilst watching the sun go down!

Yee ha!

I vaguely remember some pictures of a plot with a big tree by it from a while back.  Looked a bit waterlogged at the time - was it this one?  Certainly looking good now.
