This was in the garden of our new house. Lots of nice flowers and the other half and her mother are arguing over what it is.. Can someone please settle the argument ??

Love them, had loads till OH decided to move them around the garden.

Ill admit I didnt like it.. Until the first lot of flowers arrived!! So Im guessing they do not like being re-homed ? Was actually planning on moving it later in the year  :blink:

It's a hardy perennial and seeds quite well. You can move it in September/October....try to keep the rootball together. Collect the seed and scatter around where you're planning to grow it and you'll have a fantastic show in a year or two.
The bees love 'em.....

The only down side is that the slugs and snails love them too!
(well they love mine!!)

I love them too (they are herbaceous perennials so die back completely in winter; slugs are only interested in them when they first start to shoot in spring but if you don't watch out you will have no delphs!)

I usually dead-head mine before the seeds have set but they are easily divided to make new plants (this is recommended every few years anyway to maintain their vigour.)
