Sprouting onion sets
« on: February 17, 2007, 11:10 »
Just dug out the onion sets I bought the other week intending to put in, before the freezing weather and snow hit, and they're sprouting pretty well in the bag :o

Is it still OK to plant them (first time with onions) ?

Cheers
Organic where possible, unless it involves the snails that now seem to be eating the slug pellets for fun

Yeah - whack them in the ground and I'm sure they'll do fine.

Thought they would do fine, but didn't want to put them in if they were just likely to die :)

Well, if everything goes to plan, they're going in tomorrow :)

Spent half of today trying to get some fence posts for the extra plot I've taken over, but it seems wood yards don't open at the weekend :/
