The other beak clips?
« on: November 07, 2016, 13:16 »
Katy the naughty one is persisting with plucking her friends, so we are managing the situation with a combination of separation and occasional use of a beak clip.
I've been using the omlet bumper bit which does work but I think restricts access to some foods as well.  The bumper part making it not so easy to get pellets out of the hopper. She does manage, but it's awkward.
Was trying to find a supply of the other sort, the simple round clip. I have seen them on line, but now can't find them.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The Domestic Fowl Trust online store has a pack of 10 for 75p as well as Spex, which are another option to try.

Are any hens moulting? Have you  checked for lice?

If moulting put some cat or dog food in a dish
