Do you mean that the vine is on the inside of the west facing wall, and you are considering planting something on the outside of the same wall?

I am not an expert on vines but I would definitely have concerns about growing another permanent plant that close (i.e. the cherry).  Their roots will grow and compete significantly for nutrients and water.

Beans / sweet peas are also hungry plants so may not thrive either.

I would also have concerns about the shade cast by one plant onto the other - but that may not be too much of a problem.
