Just noticed one of my hens has a gooey mess coming from behind , looks like egg has broken & also some form of pro-lapse is partly protruding .

You will need to very gently clean her up. I would use a mild solution of salt water. As it is essential to get everything out, including the shell without scratching her insides, it may be advisable to ask a vet who would probably give an antibiotic shot as well. Infection is a very real possibility.
