« on: November 25, 2009, 11:41 »
I have an egg thats cheeping ,  can i bring it indoors to hatch, I know its due tommorow, I have no incubater, but have a vivarim which would keep a chick warm enough  I have reared several from day old in it already. I am so worried it will hatch in the night and mum wont be able to keep it warm enough.

I am presuming that the egg is under a broody hen? if so, it needs to be left with mum as she knows best when it comes to hatching, and will keep her chick warm under her feathers  :) Make sure she is separated from other chickens so she has a safe  and quiet area to raise her chick. Have you got chick crumb yet?
