« on: April 25, 2012, 22:23 »
i have two plants on my bedroom windowsill
they are the lunch box variety 20 cucumbers per week
they are going great guns
however the cucumbers are now about 5 mm long and the tentrilces like you see peas use to climb are showing and just curling
now i know the frost danger has not past is ok for them to just sit where they are they are in 5 inch pots

p.s as some of you amy have reaD YEARS BEFORE MY SPUDS ARE UP AND RUNNING DESPITE BEING PLANTED LATE LOL

go away mr jack frost anyway what say you all to my cucumbers

They sound like they are doing  just fine

Watering from below will help the stems stay dry, and prevent them rotting.

If the leave start to go a paler shade of green, then given the some tomato food

They need warmth, not just free of frost, so don't put them outside
