Friday, no brainer day.

Oven chips, a few mushies, some beans and a nasty shop bought pie from a well know maker of chippy pies. Zero effort and it's all going in the oven at the same time apart from the beans which I prefer cold.

Salmon, new potatoes and green beans for us.  I'm going to have some peas as well, Paul doesn't like them.

Spag here as well but with sweet leek carbonara sauce, which is basically very slow cooked sautéed and braised leeks with the usual egg and cheese stirred in, once it is all in the same pan.

We had both had a busy day and I cooked way too much pasta, but somehow it seems to have all disappeared  ???

Quiches were on special at M & S when we went earlier this week, so broccoli, tomato and cheddar quiche with potato salad with pickles.  Feel  really stuffed now.

Finally had some sensible sized Jacket spuds delivered from snasbods, nuked one with cheese and Worcestershire sauce which has gone really thin

Thought I'd have another try at meatloaf today as I'm a little tired of the usual mince dishes, I'm struggling to get my head around it being anything more than a giant beefburger though.  Mixed chunky veg and mash to go with it and plenty of spoonstanding at the ready in case it turns out like the last time I made it.

Roast chicken dinner here.  Carrots and green beans to go with, I think it might be the last of the beans from the freezer.
