That burger is still repeating on me

Anyway tonight I'm going old school, a jacket spud done in the oven with just a knob of proper butter and perhaps a sprinkle of extra mature cheddar.

This happened to one of my plants last year. I treated it like I would a broken leg  and gave it a splint, wrapped it up firmly, made sure I took the strain off it as it grew and fruited with strategic supports and hoped for the best. It worked a treat and It needed to, as I'd given away the other plant.
Good luck

I use them to perk up soil that needs a boost.
Also use them effectively as an alternative to growmore as plot 1 says.
And yes they are smelly!

Hi nerdle. Nice to hear from you again  :)

You could try Preloved or Pets4homes to see if anyone has older girls to retire.  You do sometimes also see people re-homing ex-bats, who are younger but have a fairly short lifespan once their laying days are over.  It might be worth getting 2 so if you lose another you are not in the same boat again.

It's finally stopped raining - but it's still grey, pretty windy and maxing out at 11c.  Feels more like October than the end of May.
All I can add to that is, this morning I'm drinking my mid-morning coffee in the greenhouse - says it all really  ::)
