Thats a nice mix you got there.
I tried white Habanero last year but I didn't get a single seed to germinate, I got a bad batch of seeds. It put me off trying them again.

My favourite are Hungarian Hot Wax - they are so easy to grow, don't need to be started off too early like some of the very hot ones, can be planted outside when it's safe to do so and still give an amazing crop  :D

I grow chillis every year, but this is my first year of trying Habanero. I sowed 6 seeds and had 100% germination within a week to 10 days, and they were bought from Premier Seeds on ebay. So on this experience, I don't think they can be too difficult to germinate normally.

This year I'm also growing Superchilli (my all-time favourite) and Fatallii.

You should be fine with the jiffy things, the only problem I had with them was that sometimes the seed shell didn't come off which is usually because they were planted too shallow.
Nowadays I germinate them on wet tissue in little plastic pots (like the dip pots you get from the takeaway) with a lid and then transplant them when they sprout into 3" pots.
Not the only way, but it works for me.

I've been trying to over winter some Naga chillies in the house.  They were looking ok - had a few green leaves.  But during that really cold spell all the leaves fell off. I've moved them to the warmest spot in the house but can't see any new growth.  After pampering them for a year I'm reluctant to give up on them but shouldn't they be starting to grow again?
