i had 3 to 4 per plant, diffenernt sizes though, some shop size, some giant, but all good! my theory is plant as many as you have room for, then plant 5 more!

My first year of growing too.  Planted 4 and have had 17 BNS, 5 large and the rest medium size.  Have now pulled the plants, but they were still flowering.
