Layers Mash/Pellets/Grower

I just wondered if someone could give me a "laymens" term and explination as to what;-

Layers Mash
Layers Pellets
gowers pellets

are and when/what age etc they should be fed?

Hi Thompson, well, layers pellets is layers mash made into little pellets!!! lol and we feed our girls on them from about 16 weeks of age, just before they start to lay.

Growers pellets are smaller pellets with a slightly lower protein content that we feed the chicks once they come off chick crumb at about 5-7 weeks, until they reach 16 weeks!
