This is my 1st year using mustard seed has a green manure. I haven't a clue of the quantity of mustard seed I require to purchase. Grams/Kilos no idea?? So please those who use mustard seed for such purpose what formula do you use for your ground coverage? I've calculated into square yards/metres (a full step!!!) the areas of which will be sown. Thanks.

Not grown that one, but this is where I buy mine and they say 1g per square metre for mustard.

new shoot is absolutely rite sow seeds a very good site to get the info you need on all green manures and what you mite decide is the best for your ground

we sowed green manure [mustard] about three weeks ago and its growing very good no weeds but it will need digging in shortly
