Me again... And good morning to you all...especially Tosca ;)

Does anyone think this on-going 5 year saga would be worth reading if I wrote a book and splashed a bit of humour amongst the pages? I've been thinking about a title: "Do I b***y care!"..... a carer's guide to survival.

Good Morning Paul
It could make a very good book!!! Definitely with added humour.  :D

I'll add a few pages - could you iron my hankies please, I find it keeps them cleaner! Or, could you cut my toast into squares rather than triangles because there is less crust!

Morning all,
Paul I admire your humour and would certainly buy your book 😊 it would make very interesting reading. Hope your mum is well and can't wait to here what your sister was like on her visit, that's assuming she did visit. You deserve the biggest medal ever.

Weather is misty this morning which was a surprise hope it clears as we are supposed to have a beautiful day. Been looking at going away for a week or two to Zante, anyone had any experience of the place that they care to pass on before I make a final decision?

Definitely - I can see that path ahead of me and survival tips would be very welcome!

Up at 4 to get to Solihull to deliver a day's training - 17-hour round trip if all the trains behave and I may take a couple of hours tomorrow morning for R&R at the plot to recover. Same again on Wednesday, but at Heathrow.  :nowink:

Ma, I lived on Zante for a good few years, and it's a beautiful place if you stay away from the resort centres - full of screaming teenagers and discos

Especially I'd avoid Laganas.
Find somewhere like Aghios Sostis, it's a smaller resort and quieter - but a pleasant walk along the beach and boardwalk will take you into Laganas when you fancy the shopping/to book trips etc/noisier night life  ;)

Thank you Mum how lovley to have lived there it looks fab. I am hoping it will be quieter with it being 1st May we want to go. We have looked a t a place in Kalamaki and also Tsilivi and Limni Keriou. Are these any good? I am not a nightlife person but then I don't want to be out in the woods all alone either. As long as we are near the essential food shops it's ok lol.  :D

Ooo lucky you Ma, but as Mumofstig says, choose carefully as teenagers still travel to popular night spots even as the season just opens. We always went to Greece in the first week of May and there were tribes of teenagers going while it was cheap. We were always careful to avoid busy areas but still be near beaches and tavernas. Never been to Zante but been to plenty of other islands.

Now we just have to drive south and cross a border...but don't need to. We have it all except beaches here.

Hope you enjoy your break Ma Lowe.

Up at three with stuffed up head and cough. Could do with a nice dose of sunshine this morning.
