As a first time planter, I should go for reputable seedsmen.  That way you can say it was the seeds and not your good selves should anything dramatic happen ! ! !  I cannot believe that the prices are that much cheaper. Cheers,  Tony.

I never buy seeds from the well-known suppliers unless they are on special offer. There's a couple of good sellers on ebay who are DEFRA registered and offer seeds in plain packaging at half or a third of the price of the big boys. You might not get as many seeds in a packet but who the heck wants 2000 lettuces?
