Any breed crossed with another is still a chicken. All pure breeds were once multi crosses before certain traits were selected for and became true breeding.

I don't see why it can't be done, but then again why would you want to?  What benefit would it bring to the off spring?

If you had a brahma which was a bit sparse of floof, then breeding to a very floofy orp would possibly help there, but you would need several generations to get back a true brahma shape, and feather on the shanks.

Any boys relating from this cross you would probably find difficult to move on as they are not pure bred, unless you were willing to cull yourself either as soon as they were identified as males or later, for the table (if you had understanding neighbours).

Thanks Casey76 Not sure I am going to do this, I have Partridge split orpington cockerel and two hens all bantams, I want to breed them but I think I will have to introduce a non related orp hen to do this.
I went to a poultry mart on the weekend and ended coming home with a Lemon pyle Brahma bantam hen she was so lovely I couldnt resist and was just interested in what the outcome would be if I was to crossed my boy with her.

Thanks again  :)
