To perch or not to perch

Well I think after two weeks my ladies are just starting to learn to perch.
My girls would not perch, even when I went in at night and put them on, they just got straight off.

Yesterday, I put in two more perches (makes three now) so that there is little ground for them to sit on and I think it might be working! I also put some perches in their run outside alongside the logs etc and one even perched outside for a while today. Mind you I think they are rather tired as they were let out to free range most of the day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

If this wasn't going to work, I think I was going to have to build a bigger coop and a strong perch and I was going to have to spend the night leading the way and demonstrating good perching techniques. I hope it doesn't happen because my balancing skills are not great!

Will keep an eye on them, but it seems to be working. Thanks for the tip Joyfull, hopefully I am getting there with them.

Well if they didn't I was thinking you could help to teach them and we both perch as well  lol
