Is there anything I can grow in a largely damp and shady plot?

Hi and welcome to the site  :D

The leafier vegetables will do best e.g. chard, spinach, lettuce etc.

I'm not sure about fruit or things like spuds.

But some of the more mediterranean veggies I suspect will not be overly happy.

Let's see what others have to say  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Try caulis and other brassicas which tend to run to seed quickly in the full sun. May not work but you have nothing to lose. Also wondering about some root veg such as carrots, parsnips and swede.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Hi, if its a cold damp spot all year I would look at growing Autumn/winter veg out of season. Lots of veg aimed at the late season should/may give a good return. dont be put of with a shady plot, lots you can enjoy on there  ::)  Good luck just give it a go
