Hi MAtt

I live near Warwick and there are loads of places for chickens and feeds. Ryton has feed at Manor Farm (A45) and Feathered Friends - they have lovely chickens too! Warwickshire Rare Breeds have a good choice of chickens too - I was only having 2 and now have 5 (quite good going in 7 weeks I think!!)

Hi,
Will put my tuppence in despite being a duck girl, that whatever you get, make sure you have that little bit of extra room as the poultry buzz is addictive!
Have you thought about ducks
Kate
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Hi Matty, see you're not committing yourself to numbers this time     Good luck, get yourself some really nice ladies to bring you lots of lovely eggs  :D

And DON'T FORGET THE PICCIES  :!:  :!:

PS  Looks like you've got the same hen house as me         Are you getting the nest box that fits on the side?  There's definitely room for more than three in there
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

err.. pics of birds and poo! there is a thread on poo in the other section ;) might help.

one of my girls had runny poo today too, but seems fine, so fingers x'd it clears up on it's own, might just be stress in your girls case. they take a while to settle properly.
