Hi

Do you move your Jerusalem Artichokes, Rhubarb and Asparagus to new beds each year?

If I use one of my beds for squashes and melons what could I use that bed for next year?

 :?  :?  :?

Thank you

No leave them all in place (for different reasons).

I follow my courgettes with garlic because the ground is nice and weed-free, and becomes free at the right time.   ... you'll get loadsa different answers to this question tho.

Agreed.  Loads of manure before garlic too since it likes a good feed.  Garlic gets priority treatment in my garden.

With your honey rabbit recipe and the garlic salt, Munty, you must use a whole head of garlic every year!       Tell me, doesn't the garlic make the salt damp tho?

yeh but it dries out cos the salt sucks the flavour n moisture out of the garlic mate. a full garlic is enough to do a kilo of salt .chop it up and hen drop it in the salt .shake it about n leave it be .if ya want the flavour streonger use more garlic.
also use garlic in malt vinegar its ok as well. i used to love roasted garlic but i went off it after my op lol and i lost the want for a few other delights and ate some i wouldnt have before ..... strange huh
