Really couldn't believe the size of the egg! Sadly eaten already as my eldest daughter couldn't resist todays present from HER hen!

Oooh lucky you (or your daughter!). Two for the price of one! I have never had a double yolker before. I only own bantams although apparently they can also produce double yolkers. I'm yet to see evidence of it but then one of my girls is permenantly broody :roll: so that cut down the chances.

My lovely little Treacle (RIP) only laid a couple of eggies but one was a double yolker, I was so proud of her, bless. Well done chooky
