MR MOLE update

He seems to be quiet at the moment. Just had 1 mole hill this past week. (Fingers crossed) No damage to report.... hope I´ve not chanced fate saying that!

Mine's gone quiet too, for the moment. I want to line the pond...its only a small one but I really dont want the mole to puncture the liner. Hes tunnelled into the side of the hole already. GRRR :evil:

This morning I noticed a couple of mounds of soil in the very small raised flower bed, keeping an eye out for Mr Mole!!

Hi Pamela, how about making some more raised beds, and putting something like chicken wire along the bottom to stop Mr Mole from digging upwards? If they were nicely raised and the right size, you wouldn't have to dig your soil, more like a permaculture thingy, so wouldn't have to worry about digging your fork or spade into the wire?

Just a thought!!
