LAst year it was aphids / greenfly. This year none of those but my broccoli, kale, spinach and beets are getting hammered by (I think) flea beetle. Lots of random holes in leaves. Very different to caterpillar damage. I can't seem to find any treatment apart from running a sticky card over plants, which hasn't worked. Any suggestions?

Give them a thorough drenching with the hose on squirt rather than sprinkle...it helps

Solved the flea beetle on my sweed by this method, then they all went down with downy mildew because they were too wet! (wouldn't have happened with Derris!)

They're decimating my plants too, and the drenching doesn't seem to have much effect. Did anybody try the diatomaceous earth? I'd like to get some positive endorsement from somebody on this site before forking out for it...
