Does anyone use these? I was having a browse around as I need to invest in some new ones. ::) Do they really keep the heat away from your hands?

Are they any good?  :)

I was looking at some in Lakeland, but they seemed very rigid and I wondered whether I'd run the risk of dropping whatever I was trying to get hold of.
