Too early to plant tulips?
« on: August 29, 2013, 09:41 »
I've done it again, just couldn't resist the lovely colours and have bought 8 packets of tulips for my cutting garden. Is it too early to plant out or will they be okay?
My husband's a water sign, I'm an earth sign, together we make mud :-)

My gardening diary is here - go on, have a peek , you might be able to help me!

It is rather early - usually well into autumn, though I have seen some advice that says November. Just keep them in a cool place (fridge? Not sure) so they don't start sprouting.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
