Help needed asap plz.. Crawling things...

Hello everyone, i was just checking my birds today and saw some crawling insects on them, like light yellowish.. Is that fleas? Or something else? I've put some DE powder on couple of them, will do the rest tomorrow.

Will diatom powder kill them little creepy things or do i have to get something else?

They don't sound like fleas, it sounds as though they might be lice. There is a photo here:

Yes its lice by looking at the pictures.. Hw can i treat them?
