Is this a wind egg?
« on: April 21, 2009, 16:04 »
One of my chooks didn't lay yesterday, but i found these 2 baby's in the nest today. My wife laughed at me when i said i think they call it a 'wind egg'. Is it? if it is can you eat it?
Awww, isn't it cute, ( this has been said several times now :)

P.S if anyone can read palm, can you tell me how long i have to live?  :tongue2:

My youngsters lay eggs this size and they taste just as good as they others.  Just a bit smaller.

I've had one that was all yolk! The white was laid as a big blob of snot the next day.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Ive got one that lays one everyday regular as clockwork :nowink:
They are the size of a marble and have no yolk.
She laid one last week that was 2 joined together a bit like an hour glass
Have given up on her now, dont think she will ever lay a proper eggy.
Does anyone know of a cure?
