HEN WITH DEFORMED BEAK
« on: April 03, 2011, 12:57 »
One of my hens has always had a wierd beak and it's always been fine until just recently when it seems to have put on a growth spurt and was growing in a bizarre fashion.  She was eating normally but it was obviously going to be a problem if left

I nipped her to the vet the other day and she was dealt with quickly, painlessly and skilfully and came out with a beautifully, shiny buffed up beak, and looking completely normal. She's over three years old so she may never have to have it done again but she looks 100% better and I'm really relieved. It was £10 and worth it just for my peace of mind  :)
