Hi when can my chicks go it alone without the broody that hatched them?

My broody left her chick at 5 weeks, it kept following her for a couple of days and she very firmly pecked it to make it stop. It now sleeps on its own roosting on a little perch.

Mother hen will tell them when she is no longer interested/responsible for them
