We've got it sorted!!

Make huge stew with loads of root veggies in slow cooker (as cheap to do it full as half empty).

Eat stew - especially the meat - with spuds & a green veg.

Liquidise well-flavoured remains of veg (& any meat you missed yesterday), adjust texture if necessary, and serve as "stewp" with good bread and a bit of cheese.

Freeze any leftover stewp for future use as either soup or base for next stew - adds loads of flavour & texture!!
