I know you are all busy, but please can you ....
« on: May 18, 2019, 17:02 »
…. take a few minutes to check out this for me.    Wayfair (on Line) dCor Design Wooden Planter Box with Trellis.  £119.99, on offer.   DNOR6984

It is a good size to hide the edifice in neighbouring garden in "beach hut blue", about 1foot from my fence.
I am not too sure about how much I have to build myself.  I assume the Trellis is already made up, but I expect I have to construct the pergola to trellis,  and I assume the planter is made up, and I attach trellis into it.
What tools will I need, I have most.   Also should I give a preservative coating before I assemble, or not bother.    Thanks, (sorry, I know time is precious)   Mrs Bouquet

I just had a quick look... like the pergola-style top!

It looks as thought you wold have to assemble to box itself, and attach the trellis (which would come in one piece) to it. Instructions are usually pretty straightforward and I reckon you would only need a screwdriver… screws will be provided and probably holes pre-drilled too. Could be bolts to push through, with nuts to tighten , for which you would need a spanner.

Hope that helps  :D :D

Good evening mrs bouquet,  I'm just knocking one up for't misses.

Is this the planter with the coat hooks along the top?  I should give all parts a good couple of coats of preservative before assembly, I would also use brass screws where required.

I'll try and include a snap of my efforts when completed.

Cheers,  Tony
