Can chickens get the hiccups?
« on: June 14, 2009, 18:58 »
One of my boys, Tach', has been making a weird "hiccup" like sound for most of this afternoon.  It doesn't seem to distress him in any way.

At first I thought he was discovering his mans voice, but it's occurred on and off all afternoon, and it is like a little explosive hiccup.

He is eating, drinking and pooing as normal.

No they can't get hiccups because they don't have a diaphragm.
