Was it really a bargain ?
« on: September 19, 2023, 13:26 »
Local g/c has just closed down and being taken over.  Everything has been cleared with some good bargains.
I have bought an Ulmus x Hol Wrodei.     But was it really such a bargain.  I paid £15 instead of the marked price of £50.    I have nowhere to plant it, cannot dig a hole that big anyway.  Have got a very large tub, but will need about 6 or 7 sacks of soil, but the g/c has closed !    I was determine to get a bargain  -  Anybody want a tree   Mrs Bouquet

I used to do that where we lived but now I only want one particular Hosta (Frances Williams) and it will go in a large tub. I have a big builder's bag of top soil partially emptied ready and waiting.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
