Think I have made a boo boo with my runners. They are 30cm tall so are looking for something to climb and need to go out but I havent been able to harden them off. I have put them into a mini plastic greenhouse with the door rolled up today to start but what is the miniumum I could risk before putting into the ground on my patch?

after a few days in the poly start putting them out in the open for a few days, but inside at night.
Then wait for a forcast with few warm days & nights in a row so you plant them out.

With fingers firmly crossed that we have no more frosts

will they be ok not having anything to climb up? or should i accept defeat and start over?

I usually manage to unwind them, it'll only be for another week or so and they might miss the frost. Or you could be sure by planting another lot.............hedge your bets that way
