Green spots on chili leaf
« on: April 17, 2011, 18:51 »
So far as I can tell, they're only on the one leaf.

I recently moved both of my over-wintered chili plants into my brand new greenhouse  :D, and they've settled in nicely  :).
The spots are a darker green on one plant, on a healthy- looking green leaf. There's no sign of damage, disease or malnutrition anywhere.

Without getting technical etc., could it just be pigment as in chorophyl due to photosynthesis now the plant is getting more (sun) light?

Cheers! Mash.

My neighbouring veteran allotmenteer took the offending leaf home with him to look up the problem. Meanwhile, he made up a nutrient feed in my watering can & watched while I fed both plants from the top first, then told me to feed them both at the bottom of the pots before I went home.

It'll be interesting tomorrow, to see what he's found out  ;)
