Is it recommened to use horse manure  which have been stabled on saw dust/shavings.  A few peps have said that is gets a worm which is bad ! and any one else use horse dung

The important point here is to not use fresh horse manure on growing plants. However, you can spread it on vacant plant beds this fall and it will 'ripen' and be ready for next year. Some folk prefer to stack it this year for spreading next year. It's all personal choice. I wouldn't worry about the shavings as they will break down in the rotting process and not steal any extra nitrogen unless the mixture is very heavy in shavings rather than dung. As for horse worms, I've never heard anyone have a garden problem with them as they need to be in a living host.
