My medlar only had a tenth of the blossom it usually has in May.  It usually looks like it has snow lying on the tree.  Tree is fit and healthy and making up for it with loads of new foliage.
Sometimes my plants grow despite, not because of, what I do to them.

We have a peach tree in the garden and this year we have a lot of fruit again. Last year we had a great crop of horrible looking great tasting fruit.
