Dug over the allotment yesterday (not been down for a couple of months due to the weather and Ofsted.  Turned up some lovely pentland javelins that had been hiding away and also found some bnus parsnips growing under a cloche - presumably old seeds that did not germinate last year.

Dug up the last of the leeks and we had a cracking leek and potato soup for dinner.

Result sounds like a great find.
