As a result of a mainc month or so, my entire garden has been neglected. It has suffered a couple of weeks of hot, dry weather followed by a couple of weeks of cold wet weather with zero input from me!

I figure this is quite a good experient to see what has survived!!

Naturally - my greenhouse toms have all died - but they were blighted anyway.
The chilli plants in the greenhouse have thrived despite not having a drink for ages.
My pots of sage & oregano on the deck have died bt the tyhme and mont are fine. Parsley has seeded!
Broccoli/cauli looking like it is doing something- healthy but a bit leggy maybe?
Runner beans have produced more than I could possibly eat - but have gone a bit stringy now
Courgettes have been eaten by something (not me)
Mange Tout has died
Peas looking nice - plenty of pods and flowers around still
Tumbling toms in baskets - blighted
Toms in pots on the deck - blighted
Cucumbers - about 20 of the * looking ripe and ready with more on the way
Carrots - wonderful
Garlic - looks okay but not checked underground yet
Leeks - still small
Coriander - gone
Radish - coming along nicely
Lettuces - gone

err... - think that is pretty much it.

So on closer inspection  although much has gone to the great veg plot in the sky, it is pretty impressive how much of the garden just takes care of itself.
Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

surprised the sage & oregano have gone - they are mediterranean plants, thought they'd cope with drought.
