New birds

Just checking before I go and pick up the birds (tomorrow evening)!! My daughters have influenced the decision, based purely on colour (one had to be "ginger") and the fact that one lays "chocolate" eggs. Our selection of five now comprises three Welsummers, one Maran and one Buff Orpington.

Does this sound like a decent mix or should I white lie my way out of it?

Good choice - something for everyone, My maran and welsummers laying well and the Opr well (reminds me of my mother in law - a proper bussling bossy hen)  but very appealing and also laying well.

good luck
Starting from scratch............
