Oh, just someone I know has an allergic reaction to chicken feathers so their partner has got breeds of chickens with fur and because I've been getting told this for over a month now, I just had to explode somewhere safe :D

I feel calmer now

Perhaps they mean silkies who's feathers are very furry.

 I have to admit the idea of furry little chickens is rather appealing.

I wonder if the partner knows they still have feathers, but wants chickens so badly he/she has persuaded the allergy-sufferer otherwise?  Aren't we all guilty of advocating devious means to get our hands on more chickens (only sometimes in jest)?

So has this person started reacting to their new 'furry' friends yet?  And do they have a pallet-load of antihistamines on hand?

The partner never wanted them in the first place and was ignored however, they have apparently fallen in love with these 'furry' chickens and wants more ;)

What makes a bird a bird?  Feathers!   ;)

Does that mean that people who allergic to fur could get themselves a feathery dog?   ::)

Some people are so dim!

Naked chickens would be best! No problems with feathers or fur.  You would need to knit them little jackets though.

From the furry chicken man Bill, but he only sells them to gullible fools, Jack from the beanstalk and nincompoops  ::)

He will also tell you, 10 of these or similar chickens will happily fit inside a 3ft square coop with 6ft x 3ft x 4ft run >:(
