hi,
can anybody tell me is it allowed to buy some live chickens (say 10) and then slaughter them myself in my back garden or is there any law against this? i would then freeze them for future use
if this is fine then where can i buy dsome live chickens from? i live in brigg north lincolnshire

there is a step by step guide on doing this from going to get the chicken to roasting it

thanx for your replies but killing the chicken etc is no problem, what i really need to kow is if it is legal to kill chickens in ines back yard?

I'd imagine thats its ok to do so for yourself as long as you are not selling or gifting them away afterwards, I think I'd want to check it out a little more as you are not actually "keeping" them just buying in to slaughter.. but whom to ask I have no idea
