Hi am planning on planting out my onions/spring onions,carrot seeds and peas these are going to go into raised bed.I know i need to protect the peas but will onions need covering over with a net?

Birds like to pull them up - I swear they do it for fun 

But unless you are in an area that is prone to allium leaf miner, they are fine uncovered.
